July 4, 2007 – The Agency is seeking two new Board members to contribute to its strategic direction and governance.
Members are tasked with making decisions that reflect current scientific advice, protect consumers and underpin the Agency’s core values. They also hold the Executive to account for
implementing Board decisions.
Excellent communication skills, sound judgement and intelligence are vital in carrying out these roles. A Board member must be able to represent the Agency and make a case while operating
within a collective decision making framework. The time commitment is three days per month.
Experience and expertise in the social sciences would be also be a welcome addition to the make up of the current Board team.
