Beijing, Paris -Atos Origin, an international IT services company, announces that its Sales & Markets University has signed a comprehensive agreement to forge a long-term
partnership with Beijing International MBA at Peking University (BiMBA), one of the leading business schools in China. As one of the first initiatives undertaken by European corporate
universities in China, a future economic powerhouse, the collaboration is aimed at further developing the company’s sales to enterprises in fast-growing markets.
The fast economic development in China, fuelled by the upcoming Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, provides a golden opportunity for the global sales force of Atos Origin to strengthen the sales
skills needed to help fast-growing companies in China. Such skills are also a valuable asset to assist organizations that already establish, or plan to establish, presence in other emerging
markets. Atos Origin has been successfully cooperating with renowned universities and business colleges in Europe and enjoys high reputation in this area. The partnership with BiMBA and
expansion of this program into China further demonstrate Atos Origin’s long-term commitment to China.
The partnership comprises joint development and delivery of «Sales in Emerging Markets/Clients», a ground-breaking training program open to Atos Origin sales specialists from around
the world, which will take place at BiMBA’s campus in Beijing and involve a number of its leading professors. At the same time, subject-matter experts from Atos Origin will also be invited to
share their insights at BiMBA, and students will be offered internships, case study opportunities, and visits to the company’s facilities around the world.

«Being the capital of one of the fastest growing economies in the world, Beijing provides the perfect setting to take program participants out of their comfort zone and challenge them
with new perspectives and ways of thinking. Atos University has taken an innovative approach to forge a partnership with BiMBA in Beijing which will provide an excellent opportunity to enhance
the overall competency of the global sales force of Atos Origin,» says Hans Pijbes, Vice President Atos University Sales & Markets.
