Effective immediately, or as existing contracts allow, BASF is raising its prices for ethanolamines, ethyleneamines and isopropanolamines worldwide by EUR50-100 or USD60-130 per metric ton.

The products in question are high-class intermediates used in the manufacture of agrochemicals, wood protectants, surfactants for detergents and cleaning products, process chemicals for gas
treatment, lubricants, cement additives, and active pharmaceutical ingredients.

BASF produces ethanolamines at its sites in Ludwigshafen and Antwerp, ethyleneamines in Antwerp and isopropanolamines in Ludwigshafen.
