Identity, Quality and Safety of Mediterranean Food Products

A conference on food safety and quality issues in the Euro-Mediterranean area organized jointly by EFSA and the International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies, (CIHEAM) will
take place June 5-6 in Parma. EFSA’s role within the European Food safety network and the importance of cooperation and dialogue between producers, consumers and distributors and the
European and national institutions will be one of the key themes discussed at the conference.

The June 5 programme includes a series of presentations and discussions on ‘Identifying food safety strategies for the Mediterranean Region’.
