International conference on language resources, Marrakech, Morocco

The sixth international conference on Language Resources and Evaluation (LREC) will take place in Marrakech, Morocco, from 26 May to 1 June. This year will see the European Language Resources
Association (ELRA) cooperating with a wide range of international associations and organisations.
Composed of talks, oral presentations, poster presentations, peer-reviewed demonstrations and panels, LREC is intended to serve as a forum for researchers, industrials and funding agencies from
a broad spectrum of areas to discuss problems and opportunities related to language sciences, progress in language technologies and development of corresponding products, services and
applications, and standards.
The focus of this year’s conference will be on:
– multimodal and multimedia systems for human-machine interfaces, human-human interactions and content processing;
– resources for modelling language-related cognitive processes, including emotions;
– interaction/association of language and perception data, also for robotic systems.
