ThermPhos and Atos Origin enter new contract for infrastructure and SAP TAM services

Utrecht -ThermPhos, a leading chemical company, and Atos Origin, an international IT services company, have entered into a new multi-year contract for the delivery of desktops,
infrastructure and SAP Technical Application Management services, the agreement, with a term of at least three years, strengthens the existing relationship between the companies.

In this agreement flexible usage of resources are provided with which Atos Origin can support ThermPhos’ dynamic growth. With a good balance between on-site and remote service provision,
ThermPhos benefits from Atos Origin’s scale advantages and remote management concepts, and for some services execution from best shoring locations, in particular India. This also provides
optimal safeguards for local client knowledge. In order to ensure that Atos Origin’s service provision remains tailored to ThermPhos’ desires in the long term, clearly measurable parameters
have been included in the agreement.

According to Rob de Ruiter, Director of Thermphos International BV, the new IT contract is a logical continuation of the existing relationship between Thermphos and Atos Origin. «Years
ago Thermphos made the strategic choice to outsource its technical IT management to a professional partner. In particular the availability of an expert IT team on location, reinforced with
remote specialists, is a guarantee for a good service level that is up to the standards and wishes of Thermphos.»
